2012(1) SEASON FIXTURES
The BNTA offers the Brisbane Tennis community a wide variety of competition formats for night-time Fixtures.
In the 2012(1) Season of Fixtures, teams will have a choice of 5 great BNTA competitions: Monday Night Mixed, Tuesday Night Mixed, Tuesday Night Special, Wednesday Evening Pairs and Wednesday Night Threes.
The 2012(1) Season of Fixtures starts in March. Team registrations close on Friday 24 February.
The Team Registration Form can be downloaded from this website. Select registration from the Main Menu on the left and download the 'Fixtures Team Registration Form 2012 First Season'. The registration form includes a description of all competition formats.
Grading Sessions for new teams and individual players will be conducted from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday 16 February & Thursday 23 February at the University of Queensland Tennis Club, Blair Dr, St Lucia, Brisbane.

SOCIAL TENNIS RESUMES
After a short break for Christmas and the New Year, the BNTA's Thursday Night Social Tennis resumed on 5 January.
Thursday Night Social Tennis runs from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The cost per night is $12 for BNTA & UQ Tennis Club Members and Students or $15 for all others.
The UQ Tennis Club's Sunday Afternoon Social Tennis will resume on 15 January.
Sunday Afternnon Social Tennis runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. from October to March (and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. from April to September). The cost per afternoon is $10 for UQ Tennis Tennis Club Members or $13 for all others.

JANUARY 2012 NIGHT TENNIS TOPICS
The January 2012 edition of the BNTA newsletter (Night Tennis Topics) is now available.
The newsletter is packed with information about what is happening in Brisbane Tennis, including all the results for the 2011(2) Season of BNTA Fixtures.

BNTA SUMMER TOURNAMENTS
The BNTA & UQ Tennis Club will be running three participation-style tournaments for their members in January and February, 2012.
The Tournaments are:
Sizzling Summer Series Doubles Tournament (Saturday night, 21 January) – entries close 19 January
Sizzling Summer Series Mixed Doubles Tournament (Saturday night, 4 February) – entries close 2 February
Sizzling Summer Series Singles Tournament (Friday night 17 February & Saturday night 18 February) – entries close 9 February
These tournaments provide another form of competitive Tennis for BNTA members and give players from one night competition an opportunity to play against players from a competition on a different night.
Entry is restricted to members of the BNTA and/or UQ Tennis Club.
All the tournament will offer events at 4 levels, covering all Fixture grades (Open, A Grade, B Grade & C Grade). The aim is to complete all events in one night or morning. Round-Robin formats will be used to ensure that all players get multiple matches.

The 2011 Annual General Meeting of the Brisbane Night Tennis Association Inc. will be held on Thursday 1 December in the UQ Tennis Clubhouse (Blair Dr, St Lucia), starting at 7:30 p.m.

SUMMER FIXTURES

In the 2011/2012 Summer Season of Fixtures, teams will have a choice of 2 great BNTA competitions: Tuesday Night Pairs and Wednesday Night Threes.
The 2011/2012 Summer Season of Fixtures starts on 6 & 7 December, 2011 and finishes on 28 & 29 February, 2012. Team registrations close on Thursday 24 November, 2011.
The Summer Team Registration Form can be downloaded from this website. Select registration from the Main Menu on the left and download the entry form. The entry form includes a description of all competition formats.
Grading Sessions for new teams and individual players will be conducted on Sunday 20 November (2 to 3 p.m.) and Thursday 24 November (7 to 8 p.m.) at the University of Queensland Tennis Club, Blair Dr, St Lucia, Brisbane.

WINTER FIXTURES
The BNTA will be offering a season of Winter Fixtures on Tuesday nights.
The Tuesday Night Special (Winter Season) Fixtures will start on 21 June. Team registrations close on Friday 10 June.
